When you buy an ES Rowing Services boat, you automatically receive priority service for boat repairs and can rest assured that you will receive an after sales service second to none.

Every new ES Rowing Services boat comes with a one year manufacturers warranty. All new riggers are covered by a three year manufacturers warranty.

Boat Repairs

Here at ES Rowing Services we are dedicated to repairing your broken boat back to its former glory. 

The purpose built site in Taplow, Berkshire with its £50,000 state-of-the-art spray booth and rigger making facilities allows ESRS to offer the customer a quick, efficient, strong and lightweight repair of their boat. The spray booth allows for a finer, more durable and controlled paint finish on boats that is second to none, decreasing the weight put on the boat in paint. The spray booth and high volume spray guns help reduce the amount of solvent that enters the atmosphere, which complies with the forthcoming solvent emissions law.

ESRS has a plethora of experience in repairing all types of boat. The 4 members of the repairs team have 50 years combined experience in repairing and spraying lightweight composite boats. ESRS repairs all makes of boat and with the many years experience, the employees have honed their skills in the art of using carbon fabrics and lightweight, strong materials. This makes for a high quality finish and customer service that is second to none. Over the past year ESRS has worked on over 400 boats providing a quick, reliable and cost-effective service to the rowing world.

Below are a few of the challenging repair jobs which have been undertaken:

This Empacher 8 was run aground with severe damage to the bottom of the hull.

This Janousek 4 was split in half and with careful re-moulding made whole again.

This Aylings 4 had an argument with a lamp post and came off worse. The bow had to be completely re-formed in the workshop for it to be a competitive boat again.

This Sims 8 also had an argument with a lamp post on the trailer. The boat is re-aligned and then the two halves bonded together with high strength carbon and resin to form a repair that is stronger than when the hull was new.

Another Aylings 4, this time it had an argument with a barge and came off worse! A substitute mould was created in the workshop and with careful crafting the boat was made back into the competitive racing boat you see on the right.

Repair Collection/ Delivery

ES Rowing Services offer a regular repair collection and delivery service around the UK. We operate the service to the London Tideway clubs on a weekly basis, and approximately every 6 weeks to the North of England and Ireland. We also collect boats from Dorney Lake. There is a charge for this service. Please phone the office for details.

From 30th March Eric Sims will be travelling to the Midlands, North of England, Scotland and Ireland (North and South).
